Beer Festivals

Beer festivals form an integral part in CAMRA's campaigning, where we showcase a selection of the real ales and ciders currently being brewed and produced. Branches throughout the country hold festivals and Maidstone and Mid-Kent are no exception. There are a number of other beer festivals held throughout Kent and details of our festival and others throughout the county can be found below. For your information we also include a few details on local pub beer festivals.

The Maidstone MENCAP Fete

Maidstone Mencap Charitable Trust hold an annual summer fete at their day care centre in Mote Park, Maidstone,in early June. Maidstone and Mid-Kent CAMRA have been privileged to help raise money at this event by holding a real ale bar since 2000. All beers are donated by the breweries or wholesalers, and all proceeds from the sale of the beer goes to Mencap. So far we are proud to have raised over £4000 in this way.
